Philip Workman is facing the death penalty for the murder of a police officer. His conviction is based on the eye witness testimony of a proven liar. In my view, this makes the conviction unsafe and to continue with his execution means that he will be murdered by the State. Oddly, Gingersnaps reports, "Last Saturday, the Memphis Federal Court “certified” his case for appeal to the 6th Circuit Court, but refused to grant a stay of execution". It seems madness to me that a court allows an appeal to be heard but refrains from ordering a stay of execution. What if Philip Workman is executed, and then the court allows his appeal? At this stage, it is not beyond all reasonable doubt that Philip Workman is guilty.
Read the story over at Gingersnaps, and check the You Tube video out below. Keep an open mind, and listen to the facts. Ask yourselves has there been a miscarriage of justice in this case?
