Man dies at survival school.
It rather defeats the point when a survival school fails to ensure the survival of one of its pupils. How fit were the fitness instructors for the purpose when they were unable to notice that a man was dying through lack of water and they refused to give him water? This is a case deserving of being sued.

I did my survival training in the New Forest. Hungry and tired, yes. Short of water, no. All you had to do was raid a caravan pitch.....
Sadly, the instructors on this course seem to have forgotten Rule One - Contrary to popular misconceptions, it is not 'Every man for himself' but 'Look after each other'. The man you leave behind will probably have knowledge or skill that you will need later. Let him perish and you put yourself at greater risk. To let someone die in this way shows that the instructors were incompetent, and to pretend that they were allowing him to experience the realities of extreme survival skills is simply shameful.
At HMP Kirklevington Grange we used to go out on hikes on the North Yorkshire Moors, we took survival kit, and the pace was set by the last man, which tended to be me. At least, on going up hills.
In this case the instructors were definitely negligent.
