Did you say news or snooze?
According to The Society of Editors "The big stories of the past year: the McCanns, Prince Harry and the Credit Crunch. Did we get the balance right?".
I am mystified why Prince Harry is thought to be one of the three big stories of the year. Also, I don't think the McCanns have been such big news this year. To my reckoning, that's two out of three ain't good...

jailhouselawyer,
With the innovation of the media being subjected to government censorship, they clearly decide which 'stories' are or are not 'important'.
The overwhelming evidence and conclusions of death and disposal of Madeleine McCann is considered as unimportant and irrelevant as obtaining £1.3 m under false pretences.
Conversely, slandering Mr Amaral's evidenced based book as 'sick and vile' and lauding the McCanns is government 'thinking' in action.
John,
It's taken the dire financial results of Labour's maladministration and malpractice to relegate the McCanns from 'front page' to non existent.
Work on their behalf has been transferred totally to blogs and forums where plagiarism and disinformation continues.
Will this continue until Labour's ousted at the next election ?
Hopefully, not as the government monitoring unit aiding and abetting the McCanns is funded, I'm told, by taxpayers.
jailhouselawyer,
Have you read that justice has been served on O J Simpson ? He's no longer smiling ....
It would be an irony if he received the maximum sentence of life imprisonment...
jailhouselawyer,
According to BBC news, he's been found guilty on all counts - 6 or 7.
