Paedophile found murdered
Police were today investigating the murder of a paedophile whose body was dumped in woodland.
Gordon Boon, 73, of Norwich, was found dead in Great Witchingham, Norfolk, on Monday.
Post mortem tests found he died from strangulation, police said.
Sources close to the investigation today confirmed Mr Boon was jailed for six years in 2001 after being convicted of sex offences against young girls.
A police spokeswoman said: "Officers are following up a number of lines of inquiry."
Mr Boon was last seen alive near to the Maid's Head Hotel, in Norwich, on 3 October.
It would appear that a lynch mob is on the loose. I don't suppose it will take too long before someone who is totally innocent is hanged...

In the eyes of the law, no-one had the right to kill him. Those taking the law into their own hands makes the job of the police job harder than it already is.
If the justice system in this country worked more effectively to eradicate the problem then vigilante attacks would not be necessary.
