A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

The public are, at least, aware of this man's face and history.
The most dangerous are those not known to the public, registered or not. Sarah Payne was lured by a paedophile several years ago - the county in which I live. Her body was found by chance by a farmer's dog.
Sarah's mother tried and failed to get a law passed allowing public access to registers of know paedophiles, Sarah being the victim of one. She failed; police fear public knowledge would creat vigilante retribution.
The police may well be right; I've lost count of how many blonde girls (and a boy!) have been targetted and photographed in the McCanns' marketing campaign following their daughter's death.
Their own children were not in safe hands; they continue to risk the safety of other children to save their own skins.
The behaviour in this case is utterly deplorable. Gary Glitter is at least known for exactly what he is and parents will give him a wide berth !
How many more innocent children will suffer threat and menace in the McCann's charade ?? !!!
