Titan prisons will only brutalise their inmates
It is a dangerous myth that giant institutions are more effective

I do not often agree with Theodore Dalrymple, but on this issue I am in complete agreement with him. The bigger the prisons the bigger are the problems associated with them. Who stands to profit from this Titan project? The private sector. Who stands to lose? Prisoners and the public.
