A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate"
(Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

Pudsey Bear arrested under Prevention of Terrorism Act
Pudsey Bear arrested under Prevention of Terrorism Act
Given the recent trials and the vague legislation used to convict supporters of terrorism, I would not be surprised if the headline became a reality.
From the Bebb article, 'It included personal information and the addresses of 15 members of the royal family, among them the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.'
It would be hilarious if it wasn't so dangerous for our liberty.
I saw an appalling case on TV of a young woman who had her baby taken at birth for adoption. She eventually won her case after a long struggle with GP's backing. The conclusion reached was 'targets' - X number of babies have to be available each year for adoption !
The young woman in question was in sound health physically and mentally; confirmed by her GP. She had previously suffered depression. There was no medical cause for monitoring her; Social Services had the option of keeping an eye on her. They refused and took her child as soon as she was born.
Big Brother and his targets are for his benefit, never the good of society.
