I thought it was against the law for a police officer to accept a bribe?

I thought it was against the law for a police officer to accept a bribe?

Tarique Ghaffur receives £300,000 pay-off over race claim against Scotland Yard

And, whilst we're at it...

Police officers convicted for torturing their pet dogs

"However they have yet to be sacked from the North Wales police force, despite the conviction".

Doesn't this one law for them and one law for the rest of us piss you right off?

Let's hope the police officers don't "discipline" their children the same way or we'll have yet another Baby P scandal.

To be honest I think they should be sacked and sent to prison. There are people behind bars for less of an offence.

I don't usually condone vigilante justice, but I would love to dish some out to these pair.

The police made my life a hell for almost a year prosecuting me for assault and having a dog dangerously out of control, only for the prosecution to offer no evidence at Crown Court! Obviously, they were looking in the wrong direction!

Isn't the officer deputy head of Scotland Yard ?

Anonymous - 4.32 - it's odd that it took the media three months to report
alleged abuse and death of an 'anonymous' baby, ditto the arrest of the guilty on the same day - 3 August.

Theres no evidence to support allegations of police cruelty to their pet dogs, just as there was no evidence to support allegations made against you and Rocky.

Imagine living in a country where the police work to the dictate of a corrupt government as opposed to the law of the land; and those who adhere to their legal duties and moral conscience get "fired".
