Prison plan for former hospital
Prison plan for former hospital
A former psychiatric hospital could become a prison under new proposals.
A meeting involving the owners of the North Wales Hospital site in Denbigh and a Ministry of Justice minister has taken place to discuss the plans.
I fail to see how Denbigh Hospital which was built in 1844 and closed in 1995, could become a new prison. Before you even start it is out of date. New prisons should be designed and built for the specific purpose. This has all the hallmarks of sticking a plaster on a broken leg.

the usual criteria apply- cheap, not effective. off topic, good to see you back in "inside time".
It'll be cheaper, but won't happen.
