Former hunger striker Hughes dies
"The former hunger striker and IRA commander Brendan Hughes has died in hospital".
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

Love the Beeb's spelling! "He escaped shortly afterwards in a rolled up mattress but was eventually re-arresseted". re-arresseted?? They should really learn how to spel....
