Suffolk killer will die in prison

A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

The bloke could well be an absolute animal, I don't know, I have never met him. However living in a country (Spain) where the longest possible period one can actually serve for any one prison sentence is 20 years, this does sound like more like knee jerk vengeance rather than justice, a hark back to the days of sticking someone in a dungeon and throwing away the key.
Not really the concept of removing someone from society while trying to turn them into a reformed character fit for reinsertion, now is it? More like "lets make this bastard suffer and appease public opinion". It would have been cheaper to raise a lynching mob.

What's the point in attempting to re-habilitate scum like this? I hope he has a thoroughly miserable life and dies, eventually, in terror and pain. That way there may be some justice.
Spare me the bleeding-heart crap. All murderers, should be treated to a life-time of imprisonment with hard labour and no possibilty of release. And no pay for their labour. That way we don't pay for their crimes".
