Diversity in prison on the increase
Record numbers of foreign prisoners are being held in jails in England and Wales, according to government figures published yesterday.
Or, to put it another way, the government's policy to deport foreigners convicted of criminal offences in this country has gone on holiday indefinitely...
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
